Reclaimed Bricks

Norfolk’s Finest Reclaimed Bricks

We hold one of the largest stocks of reclaimed bricks in Norfolk, all sourced directly from our own demolition projects across the county. From the distinctive warm tones of Norfolk reds to the elegant pale hue of Cambridge whites, our bricks carry decades of character that no new brick can replicate.

Every brick is carefully salvaged, cleaned and palletised at our Hockering yard. We supply builders, architects and homeowners working on everything from period restorations to new-build projects that require a traditional finish.

Types of Reclaimed Brick

Norfolk Red Bricks

The quintessential Norfolk building brick. Our reclaimed Norfolk reds range from deep terracotta to soft salmon pink, with the natural variation and weathering that gives them their unmistakable character. Available in standard and imperial sizes.

Norfolk reds are the most popular choice for extensions, repairs and restorations across the county. Their warm tones blend perfectly with existing brickwork on period properties.

Cambridge white reclaimed bricks

Cambridge White Bricks

Also known as Suffolk whites or gault bricks, these distinctive pale cream bricks are a hallmark of East Anglian architecture. Harder and denser than reds, they were traditionally used for front elevations, quoins and decorative details.

Cambridge whites are increasingly sought after for restoration projects and are becoming harder to source. We maintain a good stock from demolitions across the region.

Handmade & Imperial Bricks

Our stock includes genuine handmade bricks with their characteristic irregular shapes and soft, textured faces. Imperial-sized bricks (slightly larger than modern metric) are essential for matching existing brickwork on pre-1960s buildings.

We often have bricks bearing original maker’s marks and stamps — a piece of Norfolk’s industrial heritage for your project.

Stable & Floor Bricks

Heavy-duty bricks originally used for stable floors, dairy floors and industrial settings. Extremely hard-wearing with a distinctive smooth, worn surface. Available in various sizes and colours.

These make stunning feature floors in kitchens, conservatories and garden rooms, and are also popular for garden paths and courtyard paving.
