Sanitary Ware &
Period Fittings
Victorian baths, Belfast sinks, period toilets and basin sets salvaged from Norfolk properties.
Period Sanitary Ware from Norfolk
Original Victorian and Edwardian sanitary ware has a quality and character that modern reproductions struggle to match. The weight of a genuine cast iron roll-top bath, the deep glaze of a Belfast sink, the ornate detail of period basin sets — these are items built to last generations.
At Mooney Demolition, we salvage sanitary ware from period properties whenever demolition or renovation projects allow. Items are sold as-found or cleaned, and availability changes regularly as new stock comes through our yard.
Whether you are restoring a period bathroom, fitting out a farmhouse kitchen, or looking for a statement piece, reclaimed sanitary ware adds genuine character that new fittings cannot replicate.
Period Fittings & Fixtures
Victorian & Edwardian Baths
Cast iron roll-top baths, slipper baths and freestanding baths. These heavy, durable baths can be re-enamelled and fitted with modern waste and overflow fittings. A genuine Victorian bath is the centrepiece of any period bathroom restoration.
Belfast & Butler Sinks
Deep, heavy ceramic sinks originally designed for farmhouse kitchens and sculleries. Belfast sinks (with overflow) and Butler sinks (without) are hugely popular for country kitchens and utility rooms. Various sizes when available.
Period Toilet Sets
High-level and low-level toilet cisterns, bowls and brackets. Original Victorian and Edwardian toilet sets with pull-chain cisterns are sought after for period bathroom restorations and can be fitted with modern internals.
Basin Sets & Taps
Pedestal basins, wall-mounted basins and matching tap sets from period properties. Original brass and chrome taps, ceramic-handled crosshead fittings and other bathroom hardware.
Other Period Fittings
- Towel rails and heated towel rails (cast iron)
- Soap dishes, toilet roll holders and bathroom accessories
- Copper and brass pipework and fittings
- Original bathroom tiles and tile panels
Buying Reclaimed Sanitary Ware
Sanitary ware stock changes frequently — we only get what comes out of demolition projects, so specific items cannot always be guaranteed. If you are looking for something particular, call us and we will let you know what we have or keep an eye out on upcoming projects.
Items can be collected from our yard in Hockering, or we can arrange delivery for larger or heavier pieces like cast iron baths.
